Olivier Brunaud
Egobike was founded in 1992 by Olivier Brunaud in Bedoin, at the foot of Mont Ventoux. The organization was created to meet the needs of enthusiasts passionate about mountain biking (MTB).
From the start, the goal was to structure the activity and enable dedicated riders to improve their skills.
The chosen priorities were:
Guiding and supporting MTB and road cycling
Creating and maintaining permanent marked trails
Organizing MTB/Road and outdoor events
MTB school
Supporting high-level athletes
It was the work of the whole team, including his parents Danielle and Jacques, that led to the creation of TEAM EGOBIKE and the organization of the very first French Cup in history at Malaucène Mont Ventoux in 1995.
Quickly, the progression of athletes, initially only regional competitors, allowed the team to become one of the best in France, with selections for the French national team and international results as a bonus.
